fifth:sense Ltd (“fifth:sense”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a company registered in England and Wales. Our registered address and data controller contact is available on request. We operate the website yourfifthsense.com and any associated products and services. For data protection purposes, fifth:sense Ltd is the data controller of your personal information.

2. What information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• First Look reports: the podcast you search for, and your name and email address when you open a report
• Contact forms: your name, email address and, optionally, your podcast or show name
• Communications: any information you share with us by email or other correspondence

A First Look report is built only from information that is already public: your podcast feed, its listings on Apple Podcasts and Spotify, its YouTube channel, and the social and website links those point to. We do not access private analytics unless you choose to connect them on a paid plan.

We may also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit our website, such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited. A cookie counts how many free reports have been opened from your browser.

3. How we use your information

• Build and deliver the report you asked for, and email you its link
• Contact you about your report and about fifth:sense, including product updates (you can opt out at any time)
• Understand how our website is being used so we can improve it
• Respond to your enquiries and requests
• Comply with our legal obligations

4. Our lawful basis for processing

• Contract: where processing is necessary to deliver a report or service you have requested
• Legitimate interests: to operate and improve our service, and to communicate with people who have expressed interest in fifth:sense
• Consent: where you have explicitly opted in to receive marketing communications

5. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information with trusted service providers who help us operate, each bound to handle it securely and in line with data protection law:

• Railway — hosting for this website and the reports
• Tally — processing the name and email form when you open a report, and sending you the report link
• Anthropic — the report text is written by an AI model from the public data about your show; no personal data beyond your first name is sent to it
• Analytics providers, where applicable

6. How long we keep your data

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy. Report and contact data is retained until you request removal or the purpose for which it was collected has been fulfilled. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing info@yourfifthsense.com.

7. Your rights under UK GDPR

• Right of access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances
